01Motorized control

Versatile motorized control.

The Proaim Spin-3 Pan-Tilt gives you precise, remote control over your camera on a jib or crane. Powered by a 12VDC battery pack or the included AC power supply, this lightweight, robust head sets up easily and is operated from an intuitive control box.

Three high-torque coreless 12V DC motors turn the head a full 360° on every axis — pan, tilt and Dutch roll — so the camera can point upwards, downwards or anywhere in between, for smooth, cinematic shots at any angle. The universal camera plate takes cameras up to 15 kg / 33 lb; need only pan and tilt? Detach the 3-axis bracket for 2-axis operation.

    Speed controller

    Easily adjust the speed of pan, tilt and Dutch roll movements to suit your shot with precision, using the dedicated speed controller.

    Dead spot

    Fine-tune the joystick’s centre zone with the dead spot control to eliminate unintended motion and prevent crossover to other axes. If the head moves without joystick input, rotate the knob clockwise to recalibrate the joystick’s centre position.

    Damping control

    Achieve smooth and graceful shot endings with the damping control, which prevents abrupt stops and unwanted jerks.

  4. 04

    Pan / tilt / roll direction

    Quickly reverse the direction of pan, tilt or roll as needed to match your shooting style or setup preferences.

  • Can this be mounted to speedrail?

    PROAIM Spin-3 (3-Axis) Motorized Pan Tilt Head for Camera Jib Crane (PT-SPIN-3) can not be mounted onto the speed rails.

  • What extent the PT-SPIN-3 is waterproof and dust proof. Can you please let me know the IP rating of the PT-SPIN-3.

    The Proaim PROAIM Spin-3 (3-Axis) Pan Tilt Head is not waterproof, however it does have limited protection against dust ingress. Its IP rating is IPX0.

  • If I will buy the 3 axis head and after few months I can remove the dutch roll from the head and continue to work with 2 axcis head?

    Yes, the Dutch roll can be removed from the Proaim Spin-3 head and the head can be converted to 2-Axis head.

  • How many circle it can complete?

    It can take 4-5 complete 360 degree panning, tilting & rolling movement with reverse point.

  • Will it work with 24v battery pack?

    No, it will not work with 24v battery pack. It will only work with 12v battery pack.

  • Which motors are used in this head?

    High torque, 12V DC motors are used in this head.

  • Will it mount on a tripod?

    No, It will not be mounted on a tripod.

  • What is the warranty?

    We provide 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. Items which are covered by the warranty period will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Replacement parts of the product will be provided at nominal cost (covering the cost price of the replacement parts only) to the customers after the Warranty Period has expired.

  • Which cameras it will work with?

    It will work with cameras weighing upto 15kg.

  • Can I buy cable longer than 15m?

    Yes, you can buy the longer cable maximum upto 30meter.

  • What is the maximum distance it can be operated from?

    It can be operated from 100ft long distance.

  • Do you provide cable for the battery?

    Yes, we provide 3 meter long cable for using with the battery.

    Yes, the joystick control box comes with a handle to clamp it on a jib crane as well as the handle to hold it in hand while operating.
