PRECISE MOVEMENT CONTROL
Using the dials of the advanced remote controller, you can program a slide with specific functions and modes.
The controller operates in three different modes:
i. Video/Normal Mode: It lets you create manual video moves from the controller. The farther you turn from 0-10, the faster it goes (10 being the maximum speed).
ii. Interval Mode: This allows you to set the frequency of moves. It includes three adjustable parameters:
a.) Length (in mm) – Adjust the total length of camera travel on the slider from 600/900/1200 mm, through the Speed/Direction dial.
b.) Distance (in mm) – Decide the Distance of each segment, from 1-300mm, to be covered on the total chosen length through the left Interval dial.
c.) Pause (in sec) – Set the period of short breaks, from 1-999 seconds, according to your needs while the camera travels on chosen length through the right Interval dial. The number of breaks is automatically aligned when both Length & Distance parameters are tuned and are achieved by advanced algorithms programmed within the controller.
iii. Loop Mode: You can use the looping feature to automatically move your camera back and forth to focus on your subject. Adjust the speed from 0 to 10, which goes from end to end on the Speed/Direction dial.

I purchased the Proaim Advanced Motion Control System along with a slider . I noticed that every time I touch the speed control, the motor stops briefly and then resumes at a different speed. I also own a controller by Pro media gear with a similar slider. When I use that controller the slider is stepless and gradually speeds up and does not stop. My question is your is your motor controller supposed to stop when I adjust the speed?
Yes, you are correct, the motor will stop when you change the speed of the controller, and then it will work at that speed.

Does your advanced motion controller trigger the camera for timelapse?
Yes, P-MC-CNL-01 has a trigger option in the loop mode but does not have a timelapse feature.
