  • Is the Flycam Vista-II Arm & Vest with Redking Video Camera Stabilizer suitable for a Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4K camera please ?

    The stabilizer of Flycam Galaxy Arm & Vest with Redking Video Camera Stabilizer has the load capacity of 800gms- 7Kg. So if the weight of your camera setup is around 7 Kgs then it can easily be mounted on the stabilizer.

  • Can this be reversed for low to ground shots?

    Yes, the Flycam Redking can be used for low to ground shots.

  • Can this be used with the Steadicam Aero 30 arm? It has a 1/2" connecting pin. If not, is there an connecting pin adapter to use that fits the flycam on the Steadicam Aero 30 arm.

    The Redking stabilizer is compatible with a 5/8" (16mm) connecting pin. It is not compatible with the Steadicam Aero 30 arm, which uses a 1/2" pin. Currently, we do not offer an adapter to connect the Flycam system to the Steadicam Aero 30 arm.

  • Will this unit work with a Cannon 70D along with a zoom lens of 18-400mm attached?

    A Canon 70D with the 18-400mm is about 4-5 lbs. The FLYCAM Galaxy Arm and Vest Kit with Redking Camera Stabilizer and its Camera Stabilizer, 7.5 lb Maximum Load will have no trouble handling the payload.

  • Would this unit handle a Panasonic AG-CX350 ok? The camera weighs in at 4.19lbs.

    Yes it will. This stabilizer handles a 7.5 lb payload.

  • Would this unit work with a Sony FDR AX700 ? It weighs in around 3.0lbs.

    Yes, this will work.

  • Would this unit work with a Sony A7sii?

    Yes, the FLYCAM Redking Video Camera Stabilizer will work with a Sony A7sii.

    No,  the Adapter bushings of Flycam Vista-II Stabilizer Arm will not be compatible, because the adapter size of tilta float is around 12-13 mm and the Size of the mounting post of the Vista-II Stabilizer Arm is 16mm

  • Is it possible to mount a motorized gimbal onto the Flycam Redking Handheld Camera Stabilizer?

    Yes, you can mount any handheld motorized gimbal with Flycam Redking Handheld Camera Stabilizer.

  • Does this stabilizer come with the counterweight?

    Yes, this stabilizer comes with counter weight plates i.e. 8 weights for each side.

  • What is the warranty?

    We provide 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. Items which are covered by the warranty period will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Replacement parts of the product will be provided at nominal cost (covering the cost price of the replacement parts only) to the customers after the Warranty Period has expired.

  • What is the diameter of the main shaft?

    The main shaft adapter has the diameter of 16mm. We provide two bushes to add onto it to make it easily adaptable to the stabilizers with the handle’s inner diameter of 19mm and 22mm

  • Does the vest have a carrying case too?

    No, The vest doesn’t come in a carry case.

  • Is it returnable for a full refund if it doesn't meet my expectations upon delivery?

  • What are the minimum and maximum chest and waist sizes the vest will fit ?

    The Vest will fit to the sizes as follows :

  • Can i put larger cameras or just a dslr ?

    Yes, you can put a variety of cameras as this arm and vest will perfectly work for total weight up to 15kg/33lbs. It does take considerable time and practice to learn to Fly but the vest and arm will help with fatigue and getting steady shots. The build quality is surprisingly good.

  • Do the vest and arm help with stabilization?

    Yes it does help, however the most important part of stabilization is first balancing the flycam initially. That would mean placing all items that will be used on the day of shooting (ie, Monitor, Battery, Camera, Lens, Wires, additional mounts, etc) for proper accuracy in the balancing process. It will take some time to correctly balance, but once you have the correct balance of the stabilizer, the arm and vest will be extremely helpful in the final stabilization.

  • Does the Flycam Stabilizer comes with the vest ?

    Yes, It comes with an Arm, Vest and Flycam Redking Stabilizer.

  • Will this arm and vest work with a glidecam 4000 and hd series?

    Yes, it will perfectly work with your glidecam stabilizer.

  • Can I mount LCD Monitor with Flycam Redking?

    Yes, you can mount the LCD monitor onto the weight plate of Flycam Redking. You need to remove the weights from one side to which you want to mount the LCD monitor.

  • If my camera plus accessories are overweight, what options do I have? Can I add more counter weights?

    Flycam Redking can bear upto 15.4lbs. You can add more counter weights for total weight upto 17lbs only.

  • What is the weight of Flycam Redking?

    The weight of Flycam Redking with weight plate is approx. 3.2 kg

  • Does this steadicam come with the counterweight?

    Yes, this steadicam comes with counter weight plates i.e. 8 weights for each side.
