Precision in every joint.

Every joint on the UC5 is made to close tolerances. The bed slides on close-fit tubes and locks in position. The handles pivot on deep-set hinges. The casters sit in machined sockets, secured with locking nuts, and track straight.

Welded into one.

The frame is MIG-welded into a single structure, and every weld is inspected before the frame goes to the coating line. Every cut edge is finished smooth.

Where a part has to move, it turns on threaded hardware with locking nuts — set once, and it stays set.

03Finish

Architecture-grade powder coat. Matte black.

The UC5 is finished in the class of matte black powder coat used on outdoor architectural steel — railings and street furniture that stand in sun and rain for years. It’s cured as one hard skin across the frame.

It resists the scratches of cases sliding on and off, wipes clean of grime and grease, and holds its colour in the sun. Matte hides fingerprints, scuffs and the dust of a location day.

Before it’s packed, every UC5 is assembled, loaded to its rated payload and rolled under that load on all four wheels. Every weld is inspected. Every wheel is spun. Every brake is set and released.

08Wheels

Wheels that stay round.

Two 10" solid-rubber wheels at the rear carry the load. Two 8" swivel casters at the front steer it, and lock with a step on the brake. Air-free, so there’s nothing to inflate and nothing to puncture. They roll freely under a full bed, and the cart steers from either end.

And they hold their shape: load the cart, park it, leave it overnight — it rolls the same in the morning. Cables, thresholds, kerbs, gravel and grass, without stalling.

09Fold

Folds flat. Fits a trunk.

Step on the release bar and the handle folds flat. The UC5 slides into a hatchback, a trunk or the gap behind a van bulkhead, and lies flat and quiet on the drive.

Out of the box, the four wheels bolt on with the two spanners we include, and the cart is ready in minutes. The frame arrives assembled and already tested.

11Strap points

Strap points where you need them.

Eyelets along the frame give bungees and ratchet straps somewhere to bite, so a tall or uneven load stays put over kerbs and ramps. The uprights double as a backstop for cases.

Where the rubber rings/bands go as it is not listed anywhere ?

The O-rings are used to control the bubbling in the wheels. They are already installed on the wheels but we provide extra o-rings just incase needed.
Are the holes on the collapsible handles threaded? Could we rig our own parts to attach to them?

No threaded holes. It comes with freeholes of 8mm on vertical handles and 10mm freeholes on the top.
