The Galaxy arm comes with two bushings for 22mm mounting in addition to the standard 16mm pin. Using the 22mm bushing, you can mount the Redking handle without any issue.

Would this work for shooting still images? My wrists and arms get very tired during shoots and I am wondering is this could be a solution.

We recommend using a tripod or monopod instead, since you would still need to hold the camera while it's mounted on the arm. This is just to help relieve some of the weight for bigger video camera rigs.

Is the payload of 22 pounds total payload for the arm/vest? So if my camera rig is 12 pounds and my stabilizer 6-7 pounds, I will be flying 18-19 pounds. Am I good?

Yes, the total capacity is 22 pounds. If you are in the 18-19 pound range including your stabilizer this should work fine.

Can I mount a firearm to this?

We have not tested this with a firearm, but as long as it is under the 10kg weight limit it should be good to go.

Looking to adapt my flycam galaxy to add a steadimate-RS for my Ronin RS2 gimbal. The mount needs a 1/2in post instead of the 16mm. Do you have a replacement post that is 1/2in or an adapter to step the 16mm down to 1/2in?

There is 1/4"-20 Mounting thread present in the DJI RS 3 Pro which he can connect with the plate of FLCM-GA or FLCM-GAXS.

Yes, you can put a variety of cameras as this arm and vest will perfectly work for total weight up to 10kg(21lbs). We provide two springs with the Galaxy Arm, Blue marked spring is for 1-5kg and the Red marked spring is for 5-10kgs. It does take considerable time and practice to learn but the vest and arm will help with fatigue and getting steady shots. The build quality is surprisingly good.

Do the vest and arm help with stabilization?

Yes it does help, however the most important part of stabilization is first balancing the camtree initially. That would mean placing all items that will be used on the day of shooting (ie, Monitor, Battery, Camera, Lens, Wires, additional mounts, etc) for proper accuracy in the balancing process. It will take some time to correctly balance, but once you have the correct balance of the stabilizer, the arm and vest will be extremely helpful in the final stabilization.

Does the Stabilizer comes with the vest ?

No, It comes with an Arm and Vest only. The Camtree stabilizer is 'NOT INCLUDED' in this kit.

What is the diameter of the main shaft?

The main shaft (spool adapter) has the diameter of 16mm. We provide two bushes to add onto it to make it easily adaptable to the stabilizers with the handle's inner diameter of 19mm and 22mm.
