Can you connect any camera to Flycam?

The camera mount on this product is universal just about any camera can physically mount on it however the Flycam is only designed to carry 11 lbs. The Flycam works with any camera that is under 11 lbs.

Does this vest fit a rather large person? I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 250 lbs with wide shoulders. Or, can you post a sizing chart?

Can this be used with DSLR cameras? Do I need a special plate to attached to that kind of camera or will the enclosed plate work?

Can i put a dslr on it? is it possible to mount one on there? saw a video and they were using larger cameras but curious on the usage of a dslr ?

Does this work with the ag af 100 or blackmagic cameras ?

Yes, it very sturdy. It will perfectly work for cameras and gear up to 5kg. It does take considerable time and practice to learn to Fly but the vest and arm will help with fatigue and getting steady shots. The build quality is surprisingly good.

What is the diameter of the main shaft?

The main shaft (spool adapter) has the diameter of 18.5mm which can easily adapt the stabilizers with the handle's inner diameter of 19mm. We provide a bush to add onto it to make it 21.5mm so that it can adapt to the handle's diameter of 22mm.

Does this stabilizer come with the counterweight?

Yes, this stabilizer comes with counter weight plates i.e. 8 weights for each side.

What is the difference between the HD-5000 and Flycam 5000?

The key difference in both the models is the design. The HD-5000 has micro balancing feature as compared to Flycam 5000. The HD-5000 includes Unico Quick release plate and Table clamp as free accessories, where as Flycam 5000 includes Unico Quick release plate , Table clamp as free accessories.

Do the vest and arm help with stabilization?

Yes it does help, however the most important part of stabilization is first balancing the flycam initially. That would mean placing all items that will be used on the day of shooting (ie, Monitor, Battery, Camera, Lens, Wires, additional mounts, etc) for proper accuracy in the balancing process. It will take some time to correctly balance, but once you have the correct balance of the stabilizer, the arm and vest will be extremely helpful in the final stabilization.

Can this hold a Red Epic or panasonic ag-hvx200?

Yes, it very sturdy. It will perfectly work for cameras and gear up to 5kg.

Will this work with a glidecam 4000 and hd series?

Yes, it will perfectly work with your glidecam stabilizer. But this kit does come with it's own stabilizer.
