VERSATILE CAMERA PLATFORM
The CAMTREE 19/15 mm Base Plate with its High-Grade Aluminum Construction, is a lightweight yet heavy-duty platform and comprises of ARRI Standard Dovetail Tripod Plate.
This very versatile baseplate easily attaches to any heavy-duty cameras like the ALEXA or lightweight cameras like the Sony F5.
Quick Release System allows for Quick Mounting & Dismounting of camera setup.

MOUNTING
The base plate comes with a 19/15mm rod adapter and utilizes 15mm and 19mm rods to mount on accessories such as a matte box or follow focus.
The ARRI standard dovetail mounts directly onto the tripod and works best with heavy-duty tripod heads like O'Connor 2060, O'Connor2575, O'Connor120ex, Sachtler cine 30.

  • Hello, Can you please confirm if the main difference between the Camtree 19-15 base plate (SKU: CH-DTPQ) and the Proiam base plate (SKU: CH-DTPQ-01) is just the overall weight (and the quick lock on the Proaim version). What would the weight difference be between them? Thank you. Best regards.

    The main difference between Camtree 19-15 base plate (SKU: CH-DTPQ) and the Proiam base plate (SKU: CH-DTPQ-01  is only of the Quick-Lock. 
     The weight of both the products is also same i.e: 1.36 kg.

Confidence that my gear is counterbalanced and rock solid.

I purchased this to counterbalance a fairly heavy on-camera teleprompter system and it works perfectly. Counterbalances exactly like I hoped and feels rock solid. Quality build gives me confidence my gear is safe.

Surprisingly a great buy

Thought I would buy it just to check out the quality of this. It is actually really nicely made. It is holding up great after a few uses and locks down tight. The fit and finish are good.
